माँ ब्रह्मचारिणी: नवरात्रि के दूसरे दिन माँ ब्रह्मचारिणी की पूजा की जाती है. ब्रह्म का अर्थ है तपस्या और चारिणी का अर्थ है आचरण करने वाली अर्थात जो तपस्या करने वाली देवी हैं वही माँ ब्रह्मचारिणी हैं. इनके दाएँ हाथ में जप माला और बाएं हाथ में कमण्डल है. इन्हें साक्षात् ब्रह्म का रूप माना जाता है. माँ दुर्गा का यह रूप भक्तों और साधकों को अनंत फल देने वाला होता है. इनकी उपासना से मनुष्य में त्याग, भक्ति, आत्मविश्वास और सयंम की वृद्धि होती है. माँ ब्रह्मचारिणी को मिश्री, फल और पंचामृत का भोग लगाना चाहिए.
ग्रह दोष निवारण: कुंडली में राहू ग्रह की शांति के लिए माँ के ब्रह्मचारिणी स्वरूप की पूजा करनी चाहिए.
माँ का पूजा मंत्र है: या देवी सर्वभतेषु सृष्टि रूपेण संस्थिता नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः
Maa Brahmacharini: Maa Brahmacharini is worshiped on the second day of Navratri. Brahma means penance and Charini means conduct, the goddess who does penance is the mother Brahmacharini. She has a chanting rosary in her right hand and a kamandal in her left hand. She is considered to be the form of Brahman. This form of Maa Durga is known to give infinite fruits to devotees and seekers. Worshiping her increases renunciation, devotion, self-confidence, and restraint in a person. You should offer mishri, fruits, and Panchamrit to Maa Brahmacharini.
