माँ शैलपुत्री: माता का पहला स्वरुप है शैलपुत्री. पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री होने के कारण इन्हें शैलपुत्री कहा जाता है. इनके एक हाथ में त्रिशूल और दूसरे हाथ में कमल सुशोभित है ये बैल पर सवार हैं. माता के इस शैलपुत्री स्वरुप के पास अनंत शक्तियां है. इनका विधिवत पूजन करने के बाद इन्हें गाय के देसी घी और दूध से बनी सफ़ेद मिठाईयों का भोग लगायें. माँ शैलपुत्री का पूजन घर के सभी सदस्यों के रोग को दूर करता है. घर से दरिद्रता का नाश होता है और संपन्नता आती है.
ग्रह दोष निवारण: यदि कुंडली में मंगल की स्थिति ख़राब है या मंगल दोष है तो उन्हें माँ शैलपुत्री की पूजा करनी चाहिए. कन्याओं को माँ शैलपुत्री का व्रत करने से अच्छे वर की प्राप्ति होती है.
इनका पूजा मंत्र है : या देवी सर्वभतेषु प्रकृति रूपेण संस्थिता नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः
Maa Shailputri: The first form of Mother is Shailputri. She is called Shailputri because she is the daughter of the mountain king Himalaya. She has a trident in one hand and a lotus in the other hand, she rides on a bull. This Shailputri form of Mother has infinite powers. After worshiping her duly, offer her white sweets made from cow’s desi ghee and milk. Worship of Maa Shailputri removes the diseases of all the members of the house, poverty goes out from the house, and prosperity comes in.
