5वें नवरात्रि होगी हर इच्छा पूरी || माँ स्कंद माता के मंत्र जाप से | स्कन्द माता: नवरात्रि के पांचवें दिन स्कंदमाता की पूजा की जाती है. भगवान कार्तिकेय को स्कन्द भी कहा जाता है अतः भगवान कार्तिकेय की माता होने से यह स्कंदमाता कहलाई. माता की 4 भुजाएँ हैं, एक हाथ में कार्तिकेय को पकडे हुए हैं, दूसरे और तीसरे हाथ में कमल सुशोभित है और चौथे हाथ से भक्तों को आशीर्वाद देती हैं इनका वाहन सिंह है. माँ का यह रूप अत्यंत ममता से भरा हुआ है ज्ञान का भी प्रतीक है. माता के इस रूप की पूजा करने से और उन्हें केले का भोग अर्पित करने से परिवार में सुख शांति आती है. व्यक्ति की आयु बढती है और वह विद्वान बनता है. ग्रह दोष निवारण: कुंडली में बुध ग्रह की स्थति को मज़बूत करने के लिए या बुध ग्रह के बुरे प्रभाव को कम करने के लिए स्कंदमाता की पूजा करने से लाभ होता है. इनका पूजा मंत्र है : या देवी सर्वभतेषु मातृरूपेण संस्थिता नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः
Skand Mata: Skandmata is worshiped on the fifth day of Navratri. Lord Kartikeya is also called Skand, hence being the mother of Lord Kartikeya, she is called Skandmata. Maa Skandmata has 4 arms, holds Kartikeya in one hand, the lotus is adorned in the second and third hand, and blesses devotees with the fourth hand, her vehicle is a lion. This form of the mother is filled with the utmost affection.
She is also a symbol of knowledge. Worshiping Maa Skandmata and offering her banana bhog brings happiness and peace to the family. The age of a person increases and the person becomes a scholar.
